Council Elections - Candidates Survey
BSTI has conducted a Candidates Survey of environmental/sustainability issues in the lead-up to next weeks elections. Read the results and discuss their significance here. Please remember that ticking a box is quite easy - it is in the comments written on the surveys where there is much to be learned.

Friends of Camerons Corner
Local and regional groups and individuals have met to discuss the announcement by RTA that it is looking at undertaking new road works along Waterfall Way, one of Australia's most popular tourist routes.
Concerns focus on possible disruption to the Bellinger Valley's environmental and recreational amenities. The meeting focussed on plans to undertake excavation and drainage works in the vicinity of Cameron's Corner, near Shortcut Road. This forum is set up to allow further discussion on this issue.
